About the Creator

Hi, I’m Susanna Maltby

I’m a UNC student passionate about multimedia storytelling, sports, and creativity. This project was created for MEJO 121 as an exploration of how athletes express themselves beyond the competition environment.

I play tennis at UNC, which has taught me focus, discipline, and teamwork—skills that influence the way I tell stories and approach journalism.

I’m especially interested in sports media, visual storytelling, and narrative projects that highlight the human side of athletics.
